How to make it

  • Drain the tuna and add the meat to a bowl with vinegar, salt, mayo and pepper.
  • in a saute pan over medium/low heat sweat the onions (with oil) until almost translucent.
  • Turn the heat up to medium to medium high and add the thyme, toss frequently.
  • When the onions have gotten crispy looking and dark on the edges, spoon them into the tuna (without adding the cooking oil)
  • Mix it together and serve any way you like. Its best if you let it sit an hour or so first but its good no matter what.
  • Enjoy!
