These are always a big hit at the cookie exchange I host every year. This recipe comes from my friend Brenda and are always one of the first to go in the exchange.

Ingredients
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 box graham crackers
  • 3/4 cup broken pecans

Directions
  1. Line a large cookie sheet with graham crackers.
  2. Melt butter and margarine in a saucepan.
  3. Stir in sugar and bring to a boil and pour over graham crackers.
  4. Sprinkle broken pecans over top and bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from cookies sheet quickly because they set up pretty fast.
  6. Cool completely on a wire rack.
