  • - Break vermicelli into pieces and add to oil in hot skillet.
  • - Stir-fry pasta until some of the pasta begins to turn a VERY LIGHT brown.
  • - Add tomato sauce and spices and bring to a boil.
  • - Reduce heat and SIMMER, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until "cooked down" to about the consistency of "Franco-American Spaghetti", or slightly drier.
  • ******** Serving Suggestions ********
  • Serve with Ham-Hock and Beans, Carne Guisada, Barbecoa, or other "sopa" spooned over top.
  • Can also be used as a side dish to other entrees, such as tamales, tortillas, or any other menu where "Spanish Rice" would be used.
