I call it heaven, because in heaven there will be no calories. Let's pretend we are there while eating these...Brownie like base with a caramel filling and chocolate on top!!!

Ingredients
  • 100 g butter or margarine (3/4 cup)
  • 50 ml castor sugar (4 tablespoons)
  • 15 g cacoa
  • 150 ml cake flour (1/2 cup +2 tablespoons)
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 can of caramel condensed milk
  • 1 big slab of dark chocolate

Directions
  1. Cream the butter and sugar together.
  2. Sift cocao, flour and salt.
  3. Mix together.
  4. Press down into a greased baking tray.
  5. Bake at 180 degreesC ( 360 degrees F) for 30 minutes.
  6. Put in freezer for 1 hour.
  7. Put the caramel smoothly on top.
  8. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
  9. Pour over caramel topping.
  10. Leave to harden.
  11. Cut in blocks.

This sounds delicious!! Wow... fortunately we found condensed milk at the Chinese shop near home, perfect!


It seems delicious, but I don't find caramel condensed milk here.... is it prepared in the condensed milk can??? ( some people boil the condensed milk can for about 3 hours... and after that, they have something like caramel sauce...)


Yes, boil the can for 3 hours in water, making sure it stay covered in water. The condensed milk then turn thick and caramelly. You can use it like that. Before we had ready made caramel condensed milk, we use to boil it aswell.
