Gingerbread Cookies
Ingredients
- Spice Cake Mix
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup lukewarm water
- 2 tbls flour
How to make it
- Dump Spice Cake Mix into medium bowl
- (bowl will be refrigerated)
- Add slightly beaten egg, water and flour
- Mix well with large spoon or use hands
- Add more water if necesary to mix
- Mixture will be very thick
- Cover and refrigerate for several hours
- Preheat oven to 350 when ready to bake
- Roll out dough to about 1/8 inch thick
- Cut out shapes and place on greased cookie sheet
- 4# cutter bake 8 - 10 minutes
- Place cookies on wire rack to cool
- If desired frost cookies with thinned Royal Icing
