- 1 1/2 bottles inexpensive dry red wine shopping list
- 1 1/2 bottle inexpensive port wine shopping list
- 1 bottle of brandy shopping list
- 3 sticks of cinnamon shopping list
- 1 Tbs. cardomom seeds shopping list
- 24 whole cloves shopping list
- peel of 1 orange shopping list
- 1/2 cup of raisins shopping list
- 1 cup blanched almonds shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
How to make it
- pour red wine and port wine in a stainless kettle.,add cinnamon,cardomon,cloves,orange peel,rasins and almonds.
- warm gently,but don't boil.
- put sugar in a pan and soak with 1/2 of the brandy over low flame.sugar will melt to carmalize sugar.
- add sugar to spiced wine
- cover and let mull for 1 hour..
- strain and add brandy to taste,.
- you can age if you like, just warm to serve.
