How to make it

  • pour red wine and port wine in a stainless kettle.,add cinnamon,cardomon,cloves,orange peel,rasins and almonds.
  • warm gently,but don't boil.
  • put sugar in a pan and soak with 1/2 of the brandy over low flame.sugar will melt to carmalize sugar.
  • add sugar to spiced wine
  • cover and let mull for 1 hour..
  • strain and add brandy to taste,.
  • you can age if you like, just warm to serve.
