Ingredients

1 part good gin (look for Tanqueray 10)

1 part campari

1 part sweet red vermouth

Finisher: Splash of soda

Finisher: squeeze of lemon

Directions

Fill half a tumbler with large ice rocks, place a slice of orange on top of the rocks slightly diagonally if possible, then fill the tumbler to the top with more rocks so the orange slice appears in diagonal suspension. Pour the shaken gin/campari/vermouth mixture over the rocks, finishing with a splash of soda and a squeeze of lemon juice. Gardnish with something green and benign against the red liquid like a lime twist or sprig of mint. Enjoy!
