portobello sandwich

- 6 ounces of portobello mushrooms-sliced 3/8" thick shopping list
- 1 tsp. seasoning and salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 Tbs. olive oil shopping list
- 1 small onion-sliced thin shopping list
- 2 slices of cheese shopping list
- 4 slices of texas tost ( toasted) shopping list
How to make it
- place mushrooms in a bowl and add 1 Tbs. oil and season of choice, such as italian and salt to taste and use provone cheese
- OR: cajun seasoning and pepper jack cheese
- OR: fetta cheese and oregano and a few chopped black olives
- OR: chili powder and jack cheese and add salsa with the cheese

- in a large skillet saute onions in 1/2 tbs. oil over medium high heat till lightly browned
- remove and set aside
- carefully place mushrooms in skillet and start the toast ,cook for 2 minutes, turn over and place them in 2 lots about the size and shape of the toast
- place a slice of cheese on eace and cover
- cook for about 30 seconds or until cheese is melted
- carefully remove each lot and place on the toast and serve

I like 'rooms, texas toast and cheese and it's easy. Sounds like a 5 to me! I do a mushroom pizza with the potobello cap being the pizza crust. You just might like it. Thank you for the tasty post!
