How to make it

  • Saute the onioon and garlic in butter for 10 minutes.
  • Add the hamburger, breaking the meat up carefully, and saute for 15 minutes.
  • Add the chutney, curry, salt and pepper.
  • Cook for 30 minutes over medium heat.
  • Drain fat.
  • Make a custard from the eggs, beating them into the half and half.
  • Place meat mix into a square baing pan, smooth the surface, and cover with the uncooked custard.
  • Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes.
