How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl on medium for 2 minutes, or until butter is melted.
  • Add sugar; beat with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla.
  • Add ¼ c of the flour and the baking soda; beat until well blended.
  • Add remaining 1 c flour alternately with water, beating well after each addition. Pour evenly into greased and floured 9’ round cake pan.
  • Bake 30 min. or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Drizzle with chocolate glaze.

  • *Chocolate Glaze*: Microwave 3 squares semi-sweet chocolate, 2 Tbsp whipping cream & 1 Tbsp butter until melted. Stir well.
