Ingredients
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1 cup quick oatmeal shopping list
- 3/4 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp soda shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 3/4 cup margarine, melted shopping list
- 32 carmels shopping list
- 5 tbsp milk shopping list
- 1 cup chocolate chips shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts shopping list
How to make it
- Mix first 6 ingredients until a crumbly mixture. Press 1/2 of it in a 9 x 9 pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Melt caramels in milk over low heat in top of double boiler.
- Remove the baked crumb mixture from oven, sprinkle chocolate chips and nutss over it.
- Pour melted caramel mixture over the chips and nuts.
- Press the other half of the crumb mixture on top.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Cool slighly before cutting into squares
