Bracciole For 4
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 slice portions sandwich steaks (3 per person)
- 4 tbsp. romano cheese, grated
- 1 tsp. minced garlic or to taste
- 2 tsp. italian seasoning
- salt and grond black pepper to taste
- 1 can (16 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, minced
- 2 tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
How to make it
- Combine cheese, garlic, italian seasoning, salt and pepper
- Spread over 12 double beef slices
- Gently roll and fasten with toothepicks or string
- Heat oil in skillet
- Brown meat rolls; set aside
- Add onion and celery to skillet; saute until limp
- Add tomato sauce, heat and reduce until somewhat thickened
- Return bracciole to sauce and heat through
