Egg-on-the-outside Jaffles

- 2 eggs shopping list
- 4 slices of bread shopping list
- 2 slices of ham shopping list
- 2 slices of cheddar, tasty or swiss cheese shopping list
- 2 tbs butter shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Spread some of the butter over the bottom of a jaffle iron
- Spread the rest of the butter on 1 side of 2 pieces of bread
- Preheat the jaffle iron
- Crack 1 egg into each side of the iron (break the yoke over the centre split)
- Put the un-buttered piece of bread on top of the egg
- Load ham and cheese onto the bread - add salt and pepper to taste
- Put the last piece of bread butter-side up
- Cook for 5 minutes (don't peek!) once the egg is cooked it will come out easily
