This cookie beats any famous store brand cookie. Lots & lots of chocolate chips & nuts. Whatever I have in the cabinet!

Ingredients
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 3/4 Cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 Cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 small package instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 Cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 - 2 packages chocolate chips(any variety)
  • 1 1/2 Cups coarsely chopped nuts(walnuts or pecans)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Place oven racks in highest position.
  3. Prepare cookie sheets by lining with parchment paper. In your mixing bowl, combine the butter & sugars. Mix well.
  4. Add the eggs, vanilla and pudding mix.
  5. In another bowl combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon.
  6. Mix well and then slowly add to the creamed sugar mixture.
  7. Mixture will be very thick.
  8. Add the chocolate chips and nuts.
  9. If you want a bigger cookie use an ice cream scoop to scoop out the batter. A tablespoon works just as well.
  10. With your hands roll out batter into balls and place the balls of dough on cookie sheet.
  11. Bake for 8 -10 minutes.
  12. Watch these carefully so they don't overbake.
  13. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies depending on the size.
