Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ground turkey and 3-4 turkey sausages(out of casings), browned and drained of any fat
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 ribs of celery, chopped
  • 3 - 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped or minced
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 can spaghetti sauce, your favorite
  • 3-4 dashes of Tobasco Sauce or to taste
  • 1 can beans in tomato sauce (ie. Heinz)
  • 1 can (15 ounces) Romano beans
  • 1 can (15 ounces) Kidney beans
  • 1 package chili / Taco mix
  • Garnishes:
  • Tostito chips
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Spring onions, sliced
  • Sour cream

Directions
  1. Brown turkey in a skillet and drain whatever fat there might be.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Spray a large pot ie. Dutch oven with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium heat.
  4. Add onion, green pepper, celery, garlic, diced tomatoes and your favorite spaghetti sauce.
  5. Add Tobasco sauce, to taste and cook for about 15 - 20 minutes or until veggies are tender.
  6. Add beans. ground turkey and chili / Taco mix.
  7. Allow to simmer and slow cook for 4 - 5 hours.
  8. Serve with Tostito chips, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and green onion as garnishes.
