Ingredients

7 to 9 lb Boston Butt

Dried Onion

Pepper

Salt (optional)

2 bottles - BBQ Sauce (regular size)

I prefer one -Hunts Hickory smoked

other- Hunts Hickory smoked w/ brown sugar

Directions

Place the Butt in your slow cooker.

Cover the top of your butt with dried onion.

Pepper & salt to your taste. (I never salt mine, Not a salt person).

Put water in slow cooker around the butt til right before coming to the top of your butt.

Turn cooker on low, let cook for 8 hours atleast. (I always put mine on cooking before i go to bed at night).

Take put out of slower cooker keeping dried onions on the top in place. Drain juice out of pot.

Place butt back into pot and shredd to your liking.

Add BBQ sauce and stirring well to blend into all pork.

Place your cooker on low for another 2 hours, or on warm until you are ready to serve.

Serve on buns with your favorite bbq side dishes or just with chips & dip.
