By sugaring the cake pan, it's just like flouring the pan - but you use granulated sugar. I have also used powdered sugar instead of flour.

This sounds so good and I love cakes with sour cream in them. Bookmarked for sure!

THIS CAKE LOOKS WONDERFUL. IF I CAN MANAGE TO MAKE IT WITH SPLENDA I WILL TRY IT.

I love pound cake and pecans. Never had both at the same time. I can't wait to try this. Do I need a "tube" pan or can I use cake or bread pans? I had one ages ago but it was mangled in a move and I never replaced it.

The sour cream pound cake part of the recipe is just like the one I use, except mine has 3 sticks of butter. The cake has a wonderful texture. The pecans and orange flavoring and glaze are a wonderful addition to a great cake! A 5 but I'd give it 10 if I could!

THis is fabulous!! Saving this one for sure.
