Dr Pepper Cake Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Turn oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a bundt pan.
  • Mix all ingredients together and pour into bundt pan.
  • Bake for one hour.
  • After cake cools , pour glaze over the top. Cut and serve.

    I made this cake for my hubby and it was pretty good but do not expect it to look like the picture! For one it didn't look like chocolate cake nor did the glaze look like frosting! If you want it to look like the photo I suggest using a chocolate cake mix and just buy a can of chocolate frosting.

    Is this similiar to the Dr. Pepper creme cake that they sell at Walmart. I have been trying to find a recipe to make that, and have never been able to find one. This sounds like it would come out much like their cake! If so, I can't wait to try your recipe!!!!!!!!!

    Jules--I have never tried another soda. I'm a dr. pepper fanatic--it gives it a caramel flavor. It is a very delicious and moist cake that my family really loves. Let me know if you try another type of soda. I'd love to hear how it comes out.
