Southwestern Dough Gods

I found this wonderful recipe in a newspaper a couple of years ago. A creation by Personal Chef Elicia Sherman. Heaven does not describe them.
Ingredients
- 1/2 C diced Green, Red and yellow peppers shopping list
- 1/2 C corn shopping list
- 1/4 C green onion (optional) shopping list
- 2 C sifted all-purpose flour shopping list
- 3 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/ 2 C vegetable oil shopping list
- 2/3 C milk shopping list
- 1 1/2 C cheddar cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Dice peppers.
- In fry pan, sautee peppers in butter until tender but not brown.
- Stir flour, baking powder, salt, vegetable oil and milk together.
- Dough should be sticky.
- Add peppers, corn and cheese.
- Drop large buiscuits from spoon on cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
