Because we have so many lemons available, this recipe is very popular in my family. I sometimes sprinkle confectioners' sugar over the top of the loaf.

Lemon is good for you so I am told.
I like the way you pour the lemon juice and sugar over the top.
Decadent looking when you place a paper pattern over loaf before sprinkling powdered sugar.
