Ingredients
  • 2 T hot sauce
  • 1T mayonnaise
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 c panko (Japanese-style bread crumbs)
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese dressing (I use Tyler Florence's homemade blue cheese dressing - posted separately. It's easy and delicious!)

Directions
  1. In a shallow bowl or plate, combine hot sauce and mayonnaise.
  2. On a separate plate, spread panko.
  3. Coat chicken with sauce and then cover with panko.
  4. In a well-oiled skillet over medium-high heat, brown chicken for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through.
  5. Serve with blue cheese dressing on the side.

Sparow, I can see I've missed WAY too many good recipes in my absence - it will need a week to catch up on all of these...I LOVE panko crumbs, and just used them on chicken last night, but I like your version VERY MUCH - will have to try this next time around...delish!

Made this last night and it was awesome...I let the chicken marinade in the hot sauce mixture for a bit first. Moist and so crunchy.


These chicken breasts were wonderful. I also marinated for a bit. Daughter raved about them.


That's it! This is what's for dinner tonight! Sounds SOOOO good! And after the rave reviews, how could I refuse? LOL Good one, Lori, and thanks. ;') And all these makers and no pic? I'll see what I can do about that! LOL


Made this tonight and it was a hit! Super moist! I had a hard time though keeping the panko crumbs on the chicken when frying. But tasted great nonetheless. Just not good looking for the pic. But I'll submit it anyway. I have no pride. LOL High 5 Lori for this! Your toughest critic loved it, my husband! Of course, he said "love the Tabasco flavor".
