I know a lot of people don't rate stuff before trying it, I tend to think that if it is interesting enough to comment on than I will rate it a 5. If I am not interested then I just take a look and go on. That is my philosophy for good or ill. The name caught my attention and made me look. It is nice to see a fudge recipe without chocolate. We have an Easter thing at the Ma in Law tomorrow and this might be the thing to take. Lots of food and we are looking at bringing a couple of dishes so it is not like I am being stingy and just bringing a plate of fudge. I tend to get a bit carried away in responses so…just wanted to say that this looks good to me, thank you for posting it.

    Later:
Every once and a while my philosophy burns me. This was one of those times. Blanching an almond is a real pain in the neck and as for boiling down the milk to half, very time consuming. It never did set up right, perhaps if I had spread it out more it would have set up better. While the flavor was sweet (almost so sweet as to be inedible), creamy and nutty, I ended up tossing out the batch. So with all due respect I don't think I will do this one again. It may be to someone else's likening but it did not work for me.
    Sorry,
    Mark
