Egg Custard Pie
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 Tablespoons butter, melted
- 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups milk
- Sprinkle of nutmeg
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
How to make it
- Combine eggs, sugar, butter, and vanilla; beat until well blended.
- Stir in milk, and pour into pastry shell.
- Sprinkle top with nutmeg.
- Bake at 350-degrees F for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted 1-inch from edge of pie comes out clean.
- Cool 10 minutes.
