How to make it

  • In a food processor fitted with a darn sharp blade pulse process everything but the coconut, adding the ingredients a bit at a time. If too sticky, add the bran early.
  • You may have to do this in batches as this is a large recipe.
  • When everything is in fine bits and not too moist put it all into a large bowl.
  • With wet hands roll the mixture into golf ball sized spheres and roll in the fine coconut, pressing it well.
  • Store in an air tight container in a cool place. Eat within two weeks.
