this chutney is supereb on crackers & lamb sandwhiches, can be used as a dip & cheeseboard as well.

Ingredients
  • 6 limes
  • 1 tablesp salt
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 225g sugar
  • 300ml cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp ground mixed spice
  • 2 talesp mustard seed
  • 50g raisons

Directions
  1. Chop limes finely & sprinkle with the salt, leave to stand for 12 hours
  2. Place all the ingrediants in a saucepan & simmer, covered for approx 45 mins or untill tender & thickened.
  3. Pour into hot, clean jars and seal when cool.
  4. Makes approx 1 litre
