Turkish Noodle Cake Dessert
- 1 lb fine noodles
- 4 Tbs butter
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup chopped nuts such as almonds or hazelnuts
- Extra honey
- Optional fruit preserves
How to make it
- Cook noodles to package directions.
- Drain well.
- While hot pack into a buttered oblong pan and chill until cold and firm.
- Cut into serving pieces
- Prior to serving:
- Place pieces on baking sheet, sprinkle top of pasta with and honey and preserves ( if using ) and then the nuts on top .
- Bake 375 until well heated.
- Us a drip pan in oven in case anything drips over the side.
- Serve with extra honey to drizzle over while hot .
- Note: this is a sticky, sweet delicious dish.
