Frozen Apple Coffeecake Recipe

How to make it

  • Cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. A baking powder, soda, salt, cream cheese and applesauce. Beat. mix in flour. Pour into two, 9x9 inch pans.
  • Mix and sprinkle over batter: Butter, brown sugar, chopped nuts, cinnamon.
  • place pans into freezer bags and freeze. Bake frozen coffeecakes in a 350 degree oven for about 35 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes ou clean.
