- 1 med head cabbage shopping list
- 1 large onion shopping list
- 1 large green pepper shopping list
- 3 sticks celery shopping list
- 1 can tomato juice or V-8 shopping list
- 1 beef bullion cube (optional) shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Chop all veggies in 1 inch cubes
- Place in large steamer basket over enough simmering water that it won't boil dry.
- Cover and steam about 10 minutes until tender crisp
- Place steamed veggies in large pot and cover with juice.
- Add bullion or salt and pepper on heat through
- Can be served hot or cold. I really like it in the summer for a light supper. This was called a free food as it contains very low carbs and supposedly burns more calories to eat than it adds.
