Peanut Butter Put On The Pound Cake Recipe

Great for pot-lucks but make sure you tell everyone it has peanut butter in it ... IE: allergies...

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Grease & flour 10 inch tube pan. Line with wax paper
- Cream butter, peanut butter & sugar
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
- Add flour. baking powder, salt, alternately with milk, ending with flour
- Add vanilla and mix in well.
- Pour batter into prepared pan
- Drop batter filled pan on counter to release air bubbles.
- Place pan in center of the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until cake tests done
- Great plain - or make your favorite frosting.
- Drizzle chocolate glaze if desired or whatever you want to do
