This was my favorite "Grandma Drummond" meal. When I came home from college and went to visit her, I asked if we could have this, with succotash of course! She said, "I'll teach you how to do it".

Ingredients
  • 1Pound Hamburger
  • 1 1/2 Pounds Sausage
  • 3/4 Cup Uncooked Rice
  • 1 1/2 Small Onion, diced
  • 3 Cans Stewed Tomatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Pour tomatoes into a pot and bring to a boil.
  2. In the mean time, combine all the rest of the ingredients and form into balls.
  3. Drop balls into boiling tomatoes and cook until the rice pops out.
