Butter Steamed Spinach
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 1 pound fresh spinach cut into small pieces washed and stemmed
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
How to make it
- In a large skillet over medium heat melt butter.
- Add spinach to skillet then cover and cook over medium heat 3 minutes.
- Remove cover and stir spinach until leaves are wilted and tender about 1 minute.
- Season with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
