Cherry Pudding

- 2 Tbs butter shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1 cup hot water shopping list
- 2 cups fresh sliced pitted cherries shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter with 1 cup of sugar
- Sift flour and baking powder
- Add flour mixture alternately with milk to the creamed butter mixture.
- Beat until smooth.
- Pour into a greased and floured baking dish.
- Mix cherries with other cup of sugar and add the cup of hot water.
- Pour mixture over cake batter.
- Bake in a preheated 350F oven about 45 minutes or set
- Serve warm with cream ( fresh or whipped ) or with ice cream
