Sombrero Dipper Recipe

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1/2 cup onion

1/2 cup ketchup (or hot ketchup if you want)

1 tsp chili powder

1 can kidney beans (15 1/2 oz with liquid), mash these

1 tsp salt

sharp cheddar cheese (about 1 1/2 cups), grated

Directions

Brown meat and onion.

Drain well.

Stir in ketchup, chili powder and salt.

Add mashed bean mixture. Stir all well.

Put this mixture into an over-proof dish.

Top with the cheese. (at this point you could also add some black olives and green onions)

Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 - 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbling.

Serve with dipping chips.
