How to make it

  • Squeeze lime into a 14oz chimnet glass full of shaved ice
  • Shaved ice provides LOTS of surface area, and melts fast.
  • Add remaining ingredients
  • Swizzle till uniform, and well diluted
  • Decorate with spend lime shell, fresh mint, and a long stir stick

    one will notice that MANY classic old school drinks dont have much mixer... but rather LOADS of shaved or cracked ice. Back in the day, one got a strong drink.. and you sipped it to allow the ice to dilute it, and mingle the flavours.. (unlike today, where you get a plastic cup, with some powdered bar mix, and vodka,.. then slam it down)
