- 3-1/4 pound beef filet shopping list
- 1/2 cup red wine shopping list
- 1/3 cup light corn syrup shopping list
- 2 tablespoons crushed black peppercorns shopping list
- 2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme shopping list
- 1 tablespoon dried tarragon shopping list
- 1 tablespoon dried basil shopping list
How to make it
- Roll beef and tie to form a cylinder shaped roast then place in shallow baking pan.
- Pour wine over top then brush corn syrup on all sides of beef.
- Sprinkle seasonings over beef making sure to coat all sides.
- Cover and allow to marinate 1 hour at room temperature.
- Preheat oven to 400 then uncover meat and bake 45 minutes.
- When cooked transfer to a carving board and allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
