Cappuccino Granita

- 1-1/4 Cups strong black coffee shopping list
- 1/4 Cup sugar shopping list
- 5 Tablespoons Kahlua shopping list
- 1 Cup heavy cream shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- In a small bowl,mix the coffee,sugar,and 3 Tablespoons of the Kahlua.
- Pour into a freezer-safe dish,and place in the freeze.
- To make the granita icy and flaky,run a fork through the mixture,breaking up the lump,three times at 45 minute intervals.
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze at least 8 hours,overnight would be better.
- Whip the cream with the remainder of the Kahula and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Roughly break up the granita with a fork,spoon into chilled glasses and top with the cream mixture.
- A couple of chocolate covered coffee beans would'nt be bad on top either.
- Serves 6 to 8
