Tavern Limoncello

- 12 whole lemons shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 lt bottle vodka shopping list
How to make it
- Start to finish: up to 1 week
- Juice lemons and reserve juice.
- Quarter lemons and place in pitcher with sugar.
- Mix well
- Pour in vodka.
- Cover and refrigerate 24 hours.
- After a day, stir mixture and return to refrigerator.
- repeat for 4 days or up to a week.
- Strain and push and press on lemons to extract all liquids.
- Funnel mixture into the empty vodka bottle.
- Store in refrigerator or freeze.
- use as preferred for drinks, cocktails, dessert syrups etc.
