Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup cream (250 ml)
  • 1 cup sugar (250 ml)
  • 5 ml salt
  • 1 cup milk (250 ml)
  • 115g melted butter
  • 1 cup flour (250 ml)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 750 ml cooked pumpkin, drain well ( 3 cups pumpkin, not butternut)

Directions
  1. Mix eggs and cream together, then the sugar, salt and milk.
  2. Stir in melted butter, then flour and baking powder.
  3. Lastly add the pumpkin and cinnamon and stir.
  4. Bake in a round tart dish for one hour at 180 degrees celcius.

I doubt you celebrate American Thanksgiving in Africa, but pumpkin pie here in November is a HUGE tradition, your pumpkin tart sounds easier and very tasty! A nice little twist on our traditional pie. THANKS for the great post!
