Ingredients
  • 1 jar peanut butter, 18 oz.
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, milk or semi sweet
  • Chopped peanuts

Directions
  1. Melt chocolate in double boiler until smooth
  2. Set aside
  3. In bowl, mix together peanut butter, Rice Krispies and powdered sugar until incorporated and forms dough
  4. Using tablespoon, measure out dough
  5. Roll into a ball
  6. With a toothpick, dip balls into chocolate until coated
  7. Dip in chopped nuts
  8. Put on plate and chill

We called these buckeyes (though they're often made without the rice krispies) since they look a lot like the nuts produced by buckeye trees.
