How to make it

  • Melt chocolate in double boiler until smooth
  • Set aside
  • In bowl, mix together peanut butter, Rice Krispies and powdered sugar until incorporated and forms dough
  • Using tablespoon, measure out dough
  • Roll into a ball
  • With a toothpick, dip balls into chocolate until coated
  • Dip in chopped nuts
  • Put on plate and chill

    We called these buckeyes (though they're often made without the rice krispies) since they look a lot like the nuts produced by buckeye trees.
