Salted Nut Rolls Bars Recipe

Ingredients

1 18 1/4-ounce box yellow cake mix

2/3 cup butter

1 egg

3 cups miniature marshmallows

Topping:

2/3 cup corn syrup

1/4 cup butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 12-ounce package peanut butter chips

2 cups crispy rice cereal

2 cups salted peanuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 350* F. Combine the cake mix, butter and egg together at low speed until crumbly. Press into the bottom of an ungreased 13 x 9 inch and bake 12 to 18 minutes, until light and golden brown. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with the marshmallows. Return to the oven for 1 to 2 minutes, just until the marshmallows begin to puff. Cool while preparing the topping.

In a large saucepan, heat the corn syrup, butter, vanilla, and peanut butter chips just until chips are melted and and mixture is smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and stir in the cereal and peanuts. Immediately spread the mixture over the marshmallows. Spread evenly. Cool and cut into bars.
