Ingredients

Doc Holiday will be long remembered for what he said to a man he caught beating up a girl just before he killed him in a gunfight.

"The Worst thing that I can call you is that you are a human.Horses,dogs,even pigs treat each other better than humans treat each other."

Doc had tuberculosis and strongly believed that the right alcoholic drink would cure him.

He finally found that the following drink seemed to help him a little and drank about--a fifth of it a day.

He finally succumbed to tuberculosis.

I think Doc as gotten a bad rap through time for being a drunk,but he was a friend to his friends to the end!

Directions

1 Ounce of Applejack

1 Ounce of Bourbon

Mix together well.

Thanks so much, hon. I'll start out slow and work my way up to a fifth. Cheers to Doc Holliday - and if you haven't see it, check out the movie 'Tombstone.' It's great - and Val Kilmer plays the perfect Doc...with the perfect mixture of courage and despair. He's a witty Doc.

And let's not forget, that Doc Holliday was a dentist once upon a time. Maybe he let his patients sip this elixir before doing any dental work....
