- 3 Tbsps. butter
- 4 Tbsps. flour
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 baked pastry shell
How to make it
- Cream butter, flour and sugar together.
- Beat eggs, add milk and add to creamed mixture.
- Cook in heavy pan until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Cool about 10 minutes, add vanilla.
- Pour into pastry shell and top with meringue.
- Bake in 350 degree oven until meringue is brown.
