How to make it

  • Trim the edges from the bread and cut each slice into a large heart shape. Brush one side of each heart with melted butter. Place one heart, butter side down, in a skillet. Spread peanut butter on top. Place the candy bar pieces on the peanut butter and sprinkle with mini marshmallows. Top with the other heart, butter side up. Cook slowly until the chocolate is melted and the hearts are nicely browned on both sides. Before serving, dust with powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar or colored sugar.
