How to make it

  • In bowl cream butter,sugar,and vanilla
  • Add the flour and the walnuts.
  • Beat on low speed until thoroughly mixed.
  • Cover and chill.
  • Shape cookie dough around each chocolate covered cherry ,being very sure to cover completely.
  • Roll between your fingers to form a ball.
  • Place on ungreased cookie sheet,will apart.
  • Bake in a 375 degree oven until the bottoms are golden and cookies are set,about 10 minutes.
  • Cool slightly and remove with wide spatula to wire racks.
