Ingredients
  • 1 Cup Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1-3/4 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Walnuts,finely chopped
  • 54 Chocolate Covered Cherries
  • Note: I double the recipe,just to make sure there will be enough dough to cover chocolate covered cherries.

Directions
  1. In bowl cream butter,sugar,and vanilla
  2. Add the flour and the walnuts.
  3. Beat on low speed until thoroughly mixed.
  4. Cover and chill.
  5. Shape cookie dough around each chocolate covered cherry ,being very sure to cover completely.
  6. Roll between your fingers to form a ball.
  7. Place on ungreased cookie sheet,will apart.
  8. Bake in a 375 degree oven until the bottoms are golden and cookies are set,about 10 minutes.
  9. Cool slightly and remove with wide spatula to wire racks.
