this recipe is one I have kept very close to the chest the past few years but too many people have asked for it so I'm putting it out there for all to see....

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 4 oz semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions
  1. Oven 350° spray a 9x13” pan or 2- 8” pans
  2. In double boiler melt butter and chocolate together
  3. Transfer to bowl of mixer and beat in sugar until completely combined
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time until completely incorporated add vanilla mix 1 minute
  5. By hand stir in flour, baking powder, and salt, until just combined.
  6. BAKE:
  7. 8” - - bake 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out with only several moist crumbs
  8. 9x13” - - bake 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out with only several moist crumbs
  9. Let cool 45 minutes to 1 hour
  10. Cover with plastic wrap and store in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days
  11. Can be wrapped and frozen for up to 4 months
