Nut Wedges
From sporadiccook 17 years agoIngredients
- 1 cup nuts shopping list
- 1/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 tbsp honey shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp lemon juice shopping list
- pre packaged pie crust shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375
- Mix together 1 cup of nuts (I used a combo of pecans and pistachios), with 1/3 cup sugar, 2 tbsps honey, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1 tsp lemon juice.
- Lay the bottom crust on an ungreased cookie sheet and spread the nut mixture over it.
- Then cover with the top layer of pie crust. Prick holes all around with a fork, then crimp around the edges with the tines. Brush with milk.
- Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes, then let cool for 10 minutes and cut into wedges. Drizzle some melted chocolate all over it.
