Mushroom Chicken

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast shopping list
- flour for dredging shopping list
- salt shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- garlic powder shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- butter shopping list
- 1 carton of button mushrooms or criminis shopping list
- 3 tbs butter shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
- dried thyme to taste shopping list
- about 1/2 cup of beef broth(or chicken stock, i personally like the taste of beef) shopping list
- slash of half and half shopping list
How to make it
- Season chicken breast with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. LIGHTLY dredge in flour, dusting off any remaining flour. Do NOT coat with a lot of flour. Heat pan to medium high heat, add about 2 tbs of olive oil, and 2 tbs butter. Add chicken breast and let cook and brown until juices run clear. Remove from heat, and about 2 more tbs of butter to pan. Add mushrooms, pepper, and thyme. If more butter is needed to soften mushrooms, add som. Once cooked down some add salt, and beef broth, let reduce to a nice sauce, then splash with some half and half. Serve on top of hot chicken. ENJOY

I made this for dinner last night and it was great! My family loved it. I did use chicken stock because I already had some and milk instead of half and half. The flavor was delicious. Thanks for posting this! 5 forks for sure!
