How to make it

  • Season chicken breast with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. LIGHTLY dredge in flour, dusting off any remaining flour. Do NOT coat with a lot of flour. Heat pan to medium high heat, add about 2 tbs of olive oil, and 2 tbs butter. Add chicken breast and let cook and brown until juices run clear. Remove from heat, and about 2 more tbs of butter to pan. Add mushrooms, pepper, and thyme. If more butter is needed to soften mushrooms, add som. Once cooked down some add salt, and beef broth, let reduce to a nice sauce, then splash with some half and half. Serve on top of hot chicken. ENJOY
