I wanted to do a butternut squash recipe that would hold up for reheating the day before and wasn't too challenging. Also, I wanted to make a squash recipe that might have a chance with picky eaters. If its sweet it has a better chance :)

Just finished making this and it is absolutely one of the prettiest dishes I have ever made. hope you all give this a try. I edited in the cinnamon and cloves from the recipe I found. Just couldn't let the fruit stand alone.

I put this together this evening, and now am wondering about the 1 T. cloves. Next time I will cut it way way back, 1/4 tsp. And I'll add minced garlic and finely chopped shallots.
It is a pretty and colorful dish!

Arghhh! I'm so sorry I think that was a typo. I have changed it to 1 tsp. They are very strong.
