- 6 Tablespoons butter,softened shopping list
- 1 Cup brown sugar,packed shopping list
- 1/2 Cup molasses shopping list
- 1-1/2 Cups flour shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 Cup black walnuts,chopped shopping list
- 1/2 Cup coconut,shredded shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter and sugar until light.
- Add molasses to mixture,beat well.
- Combine flour,soda and 1/8 teaspoon salt.
- Add to creamed mixture and blend well.
- Stir in black walnuts and coconut.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets,2" apart.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12 minutes.
- Let cool a few minutes before removing from your cookie sheets.
- Makes about 4 dozen cookies
