How to make it

  • In bowl,place flour.
  • Make a well in center and add eggs,stir.
  • Gradually add milk and salt.
  • Beat batter until smooth.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • In 8" skillet melt 1 teaspoon butter.
  • When hot,pour about 1/4 cup of batter,swirling to spread evenly.
  • Cook until top of pancake is dry.
  • Turn and brown other side.
  • Turn out onto dish towel.
  • Fold in quarters.
  • Continue to make pancakes,adding butter to pan until batter is exhausted.
  • To make sauce:
  • Grate the peels of the oranges and lemon.
  • Squeeze out the juice from each and reserve.
  • In skillet,melt 1/4 cup butter.
  • Add sugar and citrus juices.
  • Bring to a boil,stir in peels and simmer for about 4 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and add Drambule.
  • To Serve:
  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • Wrap the pancakes in foil and warm in oven for 10 minutes.
  • Warm sauce in skillet.
  • Add folded pancakes and sliced bananas.
  • Spoon sauce over all ,turning pancakes once,very gently.
  • Place on individual plates and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • Pour sauce over all.
